WHY DOLDOL
Serving Where the Need is Great
DolDol is in Kenya’s Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL), where distance and limited resources can restrict access to quality education. LCA exists to help bridge that gap—one child, one family and one community at a time.

Our vision is to establish LCA schools in underserved villages and, in time, a world-class Christian Senior School in DolDol—so rural children can access excellent education close to home.

“Laikipia Christian Academy was founded in 2019 from a simple conviction: where a child is born should never determine how far that child can go in life.
I am the son of the late Pastor Daniel Kalasinga, founding pastor of DolDol Baptist Church, who served God for 42 years and planted 31 churches across remote villages of Northern Kenya. I desire to follow those footsteps through education.
My training in Church-Based Development Work (Diaconia) at the Diaconal College of Aarhus, Denmark, strengthened that calling: the Church must respond to both the spiritual and practical needs of its community.
Our dream is to reach underserved villages with quality, Christ-centred education, nurture God-given potential and raise a generation ready to serve others.
Whatever God enables us to build, may it always remain about the children, the community and His glory.”
